Today marks an exciting milestone as we officially launch the refreshed brand for Tri-Global Technologies. This is more than just a fresh coat of paint; it’s an exciting visual evolution designed to better reflect our core values and our vision for the future. As you may have noticed from our recent newsletters, this refresh unifies our extensive history with our forward-looking goals. 

While the look and feel of our website and materials are gaining a modern polish – featuring a new color palette, fresh logos, and a new e-commerce experience – please know that what truly matters remains unchanged: our dedicated team, our commitment to industry-leading support, and the quality of the products and services you rely on every day. 

What’s New and Why? 

Over the past few years, we’ve made some significant updates: 

  • We launched Orbitas, our new collection software, replacing Utilipad and DataOrbit. 
  • We introduced Asteri MFi GNSS receivers, which have replaced our older BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) Asteri devices. 
  • In 2024, Mike Bellrose became the sole owner of Tri-Global Technologies, streamlining our leadership. 
  • We’ve brought all our brands – Tri-Global Technologies, Orbitas, and Asteri – together under the single Tri-Global Technologies master brand. 

These individual changes, while significant on their own, have collectively highlighted the need for a refreshed brand identity. After re-evaluating our core mission and future vision, we decided it was the opportune moment for an aesthetic update that better reflects our direction while still honoring our history. However, the most crucial aspects of Tri-Global Technologies remain unchanged.

While our look is evolving, our foundation remains rock solid. You can expect zero change to the following core elements of our relationship:

  • Account Access: Your existing login credentials for Orbitas remain active and unchanged. 
  • Core Functionality: Our Orbitas collection software and Asteri GNSS receivers continue to perform exactly as you expect them to. 
  • Our Mission & Values: Our mission remains the same: to make geospatial technology powerful, dependable, and simple to use.

What are you changing? 

We have updated our brand identity, including our logos, color palette, and the look/feel of our website and e-commerce store. Our new logos are cleaner, more modern, and designed for better brand recognition across all digital platforms. This aesthetic change reflects our recent growth and allows us to better represent the advanced technology housed within our product line. 

What is not changing? 

Everything that really matters. All of our products, services, team members, support availability, pricing, and login credentials are all remaining the same. 

Is this rebrand related to a merger, acquisition, or ownership change? The rebrand is an aesthetic alignment driven by our internal growth and vision, spearheaded by our Marketing and Operations Manager, Raiana Kelly. It is not tied to any external acquisition or merger. 

Do I need to update my bookmarks or logins? 

No. All existing website links and login methods will work exactly as they did before. 

Why did you decide to change the look now? 

The cumulative updates to our product line and the transition to a single brand name provided the perfect moment to align our external look with the internal reality of a modern, unified technology company. 

What’s the difference between Orbitas, Utilipad, and DataOrbit? 

Orbitas is our unified collection software platform. In 2020, we retired the older Utilipad and DataOrbit names to consolidate all our advanced features under one modern, powerful system. You’ll see the Orbitas branding across our website, but the core functionality you relied on has been fully integrated and enhanced. 

Why are you bringing Tri-Global Technologies, Orbitas, and Asteri under one name?

We are consolidating under the Tri-Global Technologies master brand to streamline our identity and create better brand recognition. This reflects that our Asteri GNSS receivers and our Orbitas collection software are all part of one cohesive ecosystem built by our singular team, emphasizing that each product and service is backed by the same company you’ve trusted for more than 25 years. 

I’m having trouble navigating the new website – can you help me find something? We are continually optimizing the new experience on the website. I have an invoice or estimate from Tri-Global with the old logo on it – is it still valid? Yes, all previously printed or distributed materials remain valid. When you place a new order or request an estimate, the new materials will automatically feature the new branding. 

I see the new branding everywhere, but the Orbitas mobile application and web portal still show the old logo and colors. When will that change? 

That’s a great observation, and thank you for your patience! We are rolling out our visual refresh in phases to ensure application stability and continuous feature development. Our top priority is maintaining and enhancing the functionality you rely on every day. We are currently finalizing the timeline for the mobile application and web portal updates. 

We will share a concrete completion date soon, but rest assured, the app’s performance, security, and functionality are completely unaffected and remain our core focus during this time.
