In this video, we’ll cover everything you need to know about collecting and managing locations in Orbita. We’ll start with default configuration line types and walk through the Collect Location form, including fields like Name, Note, Lat/Lon, and buttons for Parenting, Location Type, Line Type, Photos, Offset, and Save—plus details on the Sensor, Accuracy, and Dilution of Precision windows. You’ll learn how to connect to an Asteri MFi when the software is already open, use the Green Real-Time Settings button, and tap to place or change a location type. We’ll also explain how to recognize the Fixed RTK status icon, access the Location menu, and edit, move, or delete existing locations. Finally, we’ll look at features like auto-connect on launch, handling naming or line type warnings, changing parent relationships, and even how to add a new location to the middle of a line for seamless data collection.
