Orbitas Field allows the user to connect to an RTK network to further refine the precisions of the supported Asteri Xi-Series receivers.
This guide demonstrates using the supported POLARIS RTK network from Point One Navigation, Inc.
Most if not all RTK providers will be applied in the same manner as this guide by entering in your given credentials, IP address for the RTK network, ports, and mounting points.
Connect your Asteri Device and make sure you are tracking satellites (accuracy in top left) as shown in the images below. Your location icon will also change.
This will be illustrated by an ORANGE or YELLOW teardrop icon displaying your current location inside of Orbitas.
If your icon is still RED please review the Connecting to Asteri guide.
Make sure that your iOS device running Orbitas Field is currently connected to the internet via wi-fi hotspot or data plan.
(Connection to an RTK network requires an internet connection.)
Now click on the SETTINGS icon (the globe and gear) and select REAL-TIME SETTINGS.
Enter in the credentials that were given to you by your provider.

Select your Mounting Point.
For the Polaris RTK network it is important to know the difference between the 2 provided mounting points.
POLARIS: This is a WGS 84 datum and is recommended by Tri-Global.
POLARIS LOCAL: This is a NAD 83 2011 datum.
Finally click on the toggle to ENABLE NTRIP
Wait for the "Connected" message to be displayed under your RTK settings before leaving the page.
Back on the main map screen in Orbitas you should see your accuracy improving and your location icon color changing to represent your current accuracy value.
*RTK activation and application requires an internet connection.
